Supportive Housing

Alpha Project’s Permanent Supportive Housing Program is located at the Metro Hotel in Downtown San Diego and includes 193 safe, high-quality, affordable and sustainable housing units. Residents within the program are also offered accompanying services aimed at ending the cycle of homelessness. Services are available both on-site at the Metro Hotel and off-site at accessible locations through partnerships with other organizations. All services are voluntary and the levels of service provided are determined through ongoing assessments of residents’ needs. Some residents have only basic needs, while some will require considerably more support.

Services at the Metro include the following:

  • On-site Case Management
  • Medical Services
  • On-site Individual and Group Mental Health Counseling
  • On-site Substance Abuse Counseling and Treatment
  • On-site Food Bank
  • Transportation Assistance
  • Clothing and Hygiene Supplies
